How long will it take me to get in shape?
I weigh 144 Lbs
I am 20 years old
I am 5’6″
I just started the Slim Fast 3-2-1 diet
and i have an exercise routine 3 days a week
5 min warm up (bikes), 12 reps of weights (varies), 30 min cardio (arch trainer), and 5 min cool down (bikes)
I haven’t started my workouts but will tomorrow…

Jane answers:
You will lose much weight in the 1st and 2nd week (2-5 lbs), then in the 3rd week your metabolism will actually start to slow down, so you might not lose any weight, then in the 4th week when you come to your senses you will start eating normal food again, but by then your metabolism will be quite low, and you will require double much effort to burn what you eat, hence you will put back all the weight and more then before you start this cazy regime.
Slim fast diet? You might as well drink sugar water and a multivitamin pill…
If you want to excercise, you should do it for the right reasons, make sure you do that for the rest of your life. Because once you stop, you will put all the weight back on, be sure u know what u want to commit to!
The workout seems like a good plan. Just dont start the slim fast diet, instead eat proper well balanced meals (carbs, proteins and fats)..Good luck

Need help in toning up?
I need help in toning my body. I’m 17, height 183cm and weight 69kg.
I loss 23kg in total over a period of two years from 89kg to 65kg and recently i started to go to the gym to build some muscles and increasing my caloric intake and I gained 4kg so far. Not sure is it muscle or fat as there isn’t much difference.
After I slimmed down, my body is very flabby. My triceps is very jiggly; my butt and thighs are very untoned, my stomach and chest sags down when i bend down. It really disgust me and I really hope to tone my body up.
Are the flabs just excess skin or fats? I am trying to build some muscles now so I need to take in extra calories to fuel them and as far as I know, doing too much cardio might make me lose muscle mass. I workout 3 days a week, with a 5mins cardio on the treadmill and I jog 4km around the park near my house once or twice a week.
I’m enlisting into army in another 2 months or so and i sure do not want the flabs/skin to sag down when doing pushup shirtless. Thanks for your help. Oh, another question, how long will it take to see a some results from working out. I dun see much yet and today is my fourth week of working out.

Ok so my best friend is really into cosplaying (which is like dressing up as anime characters)
and she wants me to go to this 3 day long convention. But the problem is I don’t know who I want to be and or look like.
So if you could help me out that would be great!
I would like an obscure character if possible, if not its ok. Someone where people cant be like oh man I know all the mistakes u are doing! haha

I can be a bit forcefull at times. most little people are.
Body: I have a slim body and don’t mind showing it, but just not too slutty like thigh area showing.
Hair: Black and it is really short again I might add a picture. (extensions and wigs would not be a problem either)
