How can I lose weight?
Okay, I’m a fourteen year old girl who wants to slim down a little bit for track season. I’m a long distance runner (800m- 1500m) and I exercise a ton, so I really just need to lose weight around my midsection to run faster. I am 5’7″ and weigh around 144 pounds, so I probably need to get down to around 135. Here is my current food intake
Breakfast- 1-2 eggs, with an orange
Snack- one apple
Lunch- half a roast beef sandwich with another apple
Snack- another piece of fruit, (bananna, orange, pear, etc.)
Dinner- Whatever we’re having, fairly healthy around 800 calories always with a salad (ex. spinach salad with pot roast, small garden salad with pesto and chicken, etc.)
That’s about all I eat, for exercise I run around 15 miles a week (7-8 minute miles, 4 miles, four days a week) and play basketball the rest of the days. I also do around 150 situps a day, with plank exercises and stuff. So, how much should I be eating and what should I change?

You are doing it! Eat more vegetables for fibre to fight fat tissue. You could add more protein (another egg, fish, chicken) to your diet for metabolism and muscle health. All in all its a good routine. Stick at it. If you are up for it, add an extra mile once or twice a week, but only if you can, don’t over train.

Am I just bloated or did i gain weight? (plz read whole thing)?
For two weeks I’ve been eating super healthy. No processed sugar, a lot of veggies, fruits, lean meats, whole grains, and 8 cups of H20 a day. The portions are very small, and plus since I”m a competitive volleyball player (i practice 3 days a week, 2 hours) i don’t need extra exercise.
however the past weekend (saturday and sunday) was my tournament and literally there was nothing else to eat. I had to fly a plane all the way to Georgia (which is 3 hours away) and the food they sold at the convention center was totally fattening and sugary. I ate a lot (cuz i played 10 matches that weekend) for two days and then came home last night (at 2 AM) and ate more sugar.
Today i ate the normal healthy way since i’m bak at school and all that…but i checked the scale and I’m 4 pounds heavier. what kind of sh*t is that?! but the again it’s also my time of the month so i hope i’m bloated cuz of that! i mean, i usually get bloated a week before and slim down after. WHAT’S GOING ON?

Don’t worry about it, from the way you take care of your body you should lose it in a few days if its from all the fattening and sugary foods you ate

How long will it take me to lose weight?
If I eat a healthy diet (low carb, low cal), attend an intense kung fu class for one hour every day and go for a 30 minute jog in the morning? What else can I do to speed it up? I’m about 5′3“, 15 yrs old, and 130 lbs. I’m not grossly overweight but I’d like to slim down

This sound like a great plan to lose weight, and if you are going to do this everyday, you will lose about 4 to 6 pounds a week.
Simple rules to follow
- run 30 min or 3 to 4 miles a day.
- eat 500 less than your calories limit. You should check out what is your daily intake for calories.
- break into five small meals
- avoid soft drinks, fats, fried foods.
- drink plain water.
- no food after 9 pm

15 year old help losing weight ?
hey
im 15 years old. about 5’2 and weigh about 110 pounds
i look bigger than i sound because i dont have alot of muscles (more fat) so i weigh less than i look like.
im not saying im FAT or anything but i just want to lose a few pounds and get a flatter stomach. and lose inner thigh fat. i wear a size 3 in jeans and my goal is to get to a 1.
so, about how many calories do i need to eat per day ?
and if i stop eating junk food and go jogging for about 45 minutes a day, will i EVENTUALLY fit into a 1 ? how long would that take me ?
andd for about 3 days now, i have been going jogging about an hour each night but ive noticed that my thighs seem to be getting a little thicker because im gaining muscle. will it just continue to build muscle or will i actually slim down ? and how long will that take ?

OK so the way i lost weight and im 15 to but a guy i was not fat but a little chunky like your saying. Really all i did was cut out my junk food snacking and replaced it with healthy snacks.
Another thing i did was befor each meal drink 2 large glasses of water befor each meal and it will fill you up so you dont over eat.
One more thing for eating i did was i cut my portions by about 20 or 30 percent so just imagine how much food you would usually take then take off about 20 or 30 percent.
For exercising do about 45 mins of cardio(running, jogging, walking,swimming ect.) do crunches or sit ups and do abit of weight traing to get rid of the flab and tone up

Is this a good fat Loss plan?
I am 22, 5′ 6″, 130. Due to a bad hip injury and back injury I cannot do something very strenuous….so..I want to flatten my stomach and tighten my inner thighs as well as get rid of the little cellulite I have.
If I eat 1300 calls a day, go to the guy 3 days for an hour…walk everyday I do not go to the gym for 20 minutes before breakfast, and 20 minutes before dinner, both at the speed of 3.6 on incline 4, and after dinner for an hour on 4 mph….will this help me slim down?
