I need to slim down within a week any suggestions?

I am going on vacation in 1 week, I have been exercising 10 times a week with barely any results, I feel better but I want to look slimmer since ill be in a swimsuit for the first time in a very long time. I had a baby 13 months ago and I’m still holding onto the weight. So is there anything I can do to slim down for the vacation? I have to eat SOME food so fasting is of the table. help me PLEASE.

Jane answers:

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Lisa asks…

What kind of swimsuit would i look best in?

I’m not fat or anything, just a little chubby. It’s my inner thighs that are the problem. I’m going on vacation in two weeks and I have to buy a swimsuit for it, what would be best for me to hide it or make my inner thighs look slimmer?

Jane answers:

One with a skirt. Also the “short short” skirt will make ur legs look longer and slimmer.

Mary asks…

What are good foods to lose belly fat?

Swimsuit season is coming! What are some food to lose lower stomach fat, I’ve been working out everyday and I already seem to be slimming but my lower stomach fat won’t go away! Anything work for you?

Jane answers:

Try to eat a bit healthier & only eat when your hungry. Things with lower amounts of fat/cals & more protein. Protein helps on a diet because it keeps you fuller & you’ll burn more calories simply digesting it. Lowering cals (Not to much just a reasonable amount) is also necessary for losing fat.

So eat your lean meats/fishes, chicken, turkey, pork chops, tuna, salmon, cod etc for protein. You can also get it from milk (Skimmed) & cheeses.

Eat your fruits when you can. Make yourself healthier sandwiches for lunch…again maybe tuna & cucumber, ham & mustard etc.

For breakfast try to eat healthier cereals with skimmed milk. Compare the cals for each cereal in the supermarket, look on the back & compare them. Doesnt have the be the best one, just choose one thats lower cals & looks yummy.

In general though you’re probably already doing the right things. When you’re slimming the fat comes off gradually from all over. The stomach/hips area is always the last to go for most people, so its just a question of patience. Keep working out & you’ll do it.

Eating the right kinds of things will help to as i say.

Donna asks…

I have a small chest and therefor, HATE swimsuits.?

I really want to find a swim suit that can maybe enhance my chest area? I am a 36 A but sometimes a and I hate it. I am slim to normal but at the same time am afraid to gain weight and look fat. I wear chicken cutlets daily and so finding swim suits is going to be interesting for me.. I hate my small chest. I wish I was atleast a B cup. A size bigger would be so nice for me. I am so self concious about it.

Jane answers:

Well we can’t change what we got, (at least not with out surgery) so what i would suggest is not to worry about trying to fill out much, a little is fine, but you need to accentuate the parts of your body that you do love and feel comfortable with, and show it off! Love yourself hun, you are the only one of you you got!
