How can I make my belly flat?
I am 13, and I want to be a model. I am not athletic, and I think I am addicted to junk food. Is there anyway for me to kick the junk food slowly, and slim down my belly fast?

Jane answers:
There is no way that you can ‘kick the junk-food slowly’ and slim down fast. You must quit junk food cold-turkey.
You are 13 so you have lots of time to shape up! If you want to model, you have to look at it like a sacrifice. Ab models are not particularly healthy just before shoots as they have to cut water retention and fat to look cut.
So, for a 13-year old with dreams of being a model, I would suggest cutting out all processed foods and eat natural things that are grown. Eat lean proteins and lots of greens. Replace sugary drinks with water. Consider starting to be athletic. You don’t have to go overboard. Just combine 3 things: Strength such as push ups, cardio such as jumping jacks and running and abs such as situps/crunches. This will give you a good start and change can happen fast as long as you push at it. Get lots of rest and good luck with your dream!

Running can slim down my belly?
Recently I had join fitness center try to slim down and get fit, my most concern part is to slim down my belly, I want to ask is running help to shake my belly gone? I already start runny 45min everyday and spend another 15 min into weight training stuff.. am I doing right away, 2 week more I will go to beach for vacation, I hope I can have the best shape to show but my belly just won’t go! how? and I have practiced eat healthy food no fast food recently, morning a glass of soy bean, launch with rice & vegetable n some chicken, dinner with two slice of bread or a glass of milk & an apple…..hope some pro people can help me out here ! thanks

If you want to loose weight, there are two things you must do. First you need to turn up the metabolism, and to do that you will need cardio (running is the best fat burning, compared to biking or olyptical). But weight training does the best for turning up the metabolism and burning fat. You don’t have to become a body builder, but some high rep low weight free weights will activate muscles that will burn fat long after your done working out.
I suggest at least three times a week and hit different muscle groups each of those days. Give muscles time to heal. Keep the ab workouts very like till you get rid of the gut. Maybe three sets sit ups 10 to 15 reps. The gut will sit on top of the abs make your belly look bigger.
The second is the most important thing, DIET, DIET, DIET! You know what to do, ZERO sugar. No kidding, look at every label. If it has more than 3 grams of sugar, then pass on it. NO Cokes. NO sweet tea, No alcohol(activates insulin which is sugar). And consistently drop 500 calories out of your day. Men generally take in about 2500 and women about 2000 calories. Read the labels for calorie, fat and SUGAR content and I promise you loose weight and see a difference in weeks. If your read the mags, they say the same thing. I have done it. It is hard, but you will look great.

Experience with P90X?
I have done it but had a rough time sticking with it due to schedule issues but i got a new job and want to try it again, i will not be following the diet plan though, have any one tried it or had experience with it with out the diet, how fast did it work for you and were you happy with the results i’m looking to slim my belly down as fast as possible and that’s about it maybe my thighs slightly. Thank you

And there is one other thing
i’m 182cm and between 68-70 kg the thing is i can go from 68 to 70 in one day and then down again and body fat is between16-20% that can also change big in 2 days it always changes between that so says my scale. i just think it’s weird and annoying cuz i never know my actual weight then.

This is something that has worked for me personally. OATMEAL! I was eating almost nothing but oatmeal for about 2 weeks, and dropped 5 pounds. To me, it is the most effective and natural way to lose weight. Its cheap, can be prepared easily (microwave) and you feel really full after just one bowl. You do get a little sick of eating it after a few days, but it REALLY helps crave hunger. I also try to add some cherios, or a little bit of nuts to have more flavor. I can have a bowl for breakfast, and not feel hungry again until dinner. I love my oameal diet. Unlike fruits and salads (which make me hungry again about an hour after i ate it), its extremely filling, and its also a diet plan that does not really require exercising.
Another thing that i did was not eat after 6pm. It sounds hard, but after a few days you get used to it. Not eating late at night really helps lose weight. What could also help is some sleep medicine. On days i knew for sure i would not be going out or doing anything in the evening, i would just take some sleep med and go to sleep. It prevents you from eating late at night. You can buy them at a local walgreens or cvs, and theyre completely non addictive.
What also helps is just some good, old coffee. Sometimes if im hungry, ill just have a cup, and it makes the growling stomach go away
my advice is drink decaf though, you dont want to be all hyper if you drink one around dinnertime.
Try the oatmeal diet. I work at a radio station, and i have talked with some beauty queens that have appeared on our shows, and they all say that oatmeal is natural way to shed pounds that works

How can I lose weight FAST?
I’m 5’6″ and 150lbs. I weighed 143 before Thanksgiving but then gained like 7lbs that day. I’ve been wanting to lose weight for a while. I’m not an active person. I do not do sports. I have scoliosis so it’s hard to do active things sometimes. I’m 15 and looking for a way to slim down. I know diets and starvation do not work and getting healthy stuff is hard because my mom is stupid when it comes to these things. My big sis is trying to help but it’s not working. I need to lose weight fast. I really want to lose fat off my arms, belly, and thighs.
I’m not going to any meetings like weight watchers.

Eat eat less (count your calories) and go for a 1-hour walk each day.
