Does the Special K challenge realy work?
I think im going to try it, to slim down. I only need to loose about 10 lbs. I want to look good on my wedding day. Has anyone tried the Special K challenge. And how were the results?

NO it will temporarily work yes but you will gain all the weight back and more. By over restricting your calorie intake you slow your metabolism down. Severe calorie cutting causes muscle cataclysm which means your body breaks down muscle fibers as a source of energy instead of burning calories or fat. On top of all this your body also produces more cortisol a fat storing hormone. After getting off the diet you can loose lets say 3lbs but eventually you will gain 6+lbs before your body balances back out. Eventually you will probably carb crash as well making you rush to the ho-ho’s in a day or two.

Iam female , 5ft3 , 148lbs or 10.5 stone and I am just wondering if 10 LBS OR even 14lbs will be noticeable that ive slimmed down? and will it be much or slight difference . I havent seen my boyfriend in 10 days and I want to look slim

Teen with scoliosis, can you tell me?
My sons friend, a young, thin girl was diagnosed with scoliosis a few years ago. She’s been going to the dr every year, maybe every 6 month, but anyhow, there has been little to no change in her back until this year and when she had her last x rays the dr said she would have to go to Nashville to a specialist.
Now, she has been to this specialist once before and the wait was about 3 months, but because of the change in her back the dr got her in almost immediately, her appt was scheduled for 10 days away. Which is still one day next week.
We (she, I and her mother) are worried sick.
One of the reasons we are concerned so much is because Whitney has a half sister with MS, though, the reason the half sister has MS is because she was born prematurely, so we’re hoping that maybe this MS isn’t a hereditary thing.
Also, Whitney complains that she can almost hear, or feel, her joints rubbing together in her knees and elbows.
She also has (and I’m sorry to put it this way) cankles, I guess is what you can them. Her ankles don’t slim down it’s like the calf of her leg goes all the way down to her feet. It does affect her walking.
I don’t really know what I’m asking here, maybe just for some reassurances or maybe some advice.

Typically tall thin kids seem to get scoliosis more than children who aren’t tall/thin. I got “diagnosed” w/ it last year (age 14) but my doctor wasn’t too concerned cause she said I was about to stop growing so my bones wouldn’t move anymore. I have it very mild though but still get it checked on every 6 months. I don’t know about the whole cankles thing. How old is she? When she reaches her biggest growth spurt (usually around 14; but not always) that’s when kids spines seem to move the most.

Do you think Sony will exchange my 80GB PS3 for a PS3 slim?
I just bought a PS3 80GB because the only slim in the store I bought it from had a defective ps3 slim. I tried the 80GB everything is fine but when I eject the disc I hear some kind of scratching noise and it always leaves smudges on the discs and my old 40GB never did that. So I’m calling Sony later today but what do you guys think?
I’m thinking about just waiting for my warranty to be up because when you have your PS3 repaired you only have a 90 day warranty after that. Do you think they’d make the exchange 10 months down the line?

No, the warranty service page specifically states if your console is repaired you either have a 90 day warranty or whatever is left on your 1 year warranty, whichever is longer so if you exchange it now instead of the 90 day warranty, you will just continue with your current 1 year warranty. But you will not receive a slim PlayStation 3, you will either receive your system back repaired, or an identical model that has been refurbished.

Sony is a nice company,
I think they will repair it. Maybe for some money or maybe even for free.
Don’t know about the changing thing cause it has taken more than 90 days. There’s one more thing, maybe they will change it for some money.
