If i’m exercising on a regular basis will i lose weight quickly or is the rate of losing weight on how much…?
you push yourself. I don’t exercise often but lately and from now on i intend to. I walk alot more rather than mooching lifts off my parents and i’m taking up cycling with my dad. Will this sudden exercise boost mean i lose weight quickly? or will i have to keep pushing myself more and more (e.g. walking at a quicker pace, running faster etc) to see results?
As you get fitter you will find that you will have to do more exercise to use more calories, but as you will be fitter anyway you wont see it as pushing yourself more..
The good thing is that when you make muscle, you burn more calories by just doing nothing… the trouble is with weighing is that muscle is heavier than fat, so once you start to build muscle and lose fat, your weight may stay the same… people who are really fit like rugby players would be seen as obese if you go by weight.
The best way to see how well you are doing is by measuring yourself once a month or so.. tops or arms, thighs, waist, hips, etc. You will soon see a difference with your clothes though.
Good luck with it all!
