
Why do people say that Juice is healthier than Diet Soda?
Diet Soda has no calories and Calories are what makes you gain weight.
Juice has calories lots of calories. However, it also has many essential vitamins in it. But the question still is why would something without any calories be less healthy than something with calories?
Presumably, juice is made from 100% fruit. Diet soda is made from artificial colors, flavors, and in the case of diet cola, acid. (I think Diet Coke has a couple of listings of acid.) If I had a choice, I would go for the juice, as it is all natural and has the good stuff in it, except for the fiber from the skin.
Personally, I go for water and fruit. It’s cheaper and healthier. Also, it’s dense, so it’s more filling and has less calories. (A medium apple has about 80 calories. A cup of grapes has about 60 calories. A cup of either of the juice has about 150 calories.)
