Is this good for a first day of thirty day diet and fitness goal?
I am 47. I weigh about 148 and am five foot, seven inches tall. I quit smoking two months ago (2+ packs a day for 25-30 years). I want to get down to about 130 fit pounds. I have been going to the gym and semi dieting for about 3 weeks. Today I decided to work harder for a thirty day strict goal. (though I will continue after that). This is my food and my work out today. Is this good?
FOOD
2 hardboiled eggs
2 fish filets
15 almonds
1 tbs miracle whip
9 shrimp
1tbs horseradish
1 tbs low carb ketchup
1 cucumber
1 ounce red pepper
1.5 tbs bacos
1 tbs olive oil
2 olives
TOTAL CALORIES 771 (373 from fat, zero saturated fat)
WORKOUT
60 minutes elliptical machine
TOTAL CALORIE BURN 500 (not including 1200+ calories sedentary daily burn)
No it’s bad. First of all, you need at least 1,000 calories per day or your metabolism will drop sufficiently. Next, with your workout, after the 60 minutes, try adding some weight training. And don’t eat the same thing every day.
